The View From My Window

The View from my window right now.

Is there a mythical pot of gold? Or is the View as good as gold?

What do you hope to find at the end of your rainbow?

  1. A rainbow is as good as it gets. Beautiful photograph.

  2. Oh my, this is lovely! Reminds me of a rainbow I saw in England last fall, which was the widest, brightest one I’ve ever seen. And last night, there was a rainbow of sorts around the moon here.

I think I don’t want to find the end of the rainbow. I want to enjoy the beauty without thinking about the end.

  3. Beautiful! Hello from She Writes.

  4. Beautiful photo! Right now the view out my window is piles of “snurt,” that lovely mix of snow and dirt that happens after months of the prairie wind blowing snow and dirt around. Not very photogenic, lol.

  5. What a beautiful photo! I’m with Brenda, lots of dirty snow patches, mixed with large expanses of muddy, dead grass. Not a pretty time of year here in Michigan!

I’m happy to chase rainbows and never know where they end. Journeys are worth more than any pot of gold. 🙂 Lovely photo.

  7. What a gorgeous photo! I still believe in that silly pot of gold ~ always want to chase the rainbows when they come.

What an amazing photo! I have a similar one we took a couple of years ago that seemed to arch perfectly from one end of our farm to the other. It was beautiful and breathtaking. It took 3 shots to get the whole rainbow.
Look forward to seeing more of you over at SheWrites (if I ever find the time to stop reading all these great blogs and go participate over there. lol)

  9. Hi from SheWrites!

What a fantastic view! Even without the rainbow – I am jealous.

I really don’t hope for much when it comes to the end of my rainbow. I’m just looking for the power to be content in my life, to accept the things that have happened (without settling) and move continually forward.

  10. Another greeting from SheWrites…not only the rainbow, but the greenery is a joy to look at. Nothing but dreary winter days here in the Northeast. So looking forward to spring.

  11. Wow, what a gorgeous photograph! Hello from another She Writers hopper, it’s great to meet you. 🙂

  12. Amazing photo. Thanks for stopping by High Heels and Hot Flashes. It’s flagged for adult content because of some of the PG content.

  13. SheWriter here! Love that picture. It looks like a postcard 🙂

  14. Wow! What a great view!!!
The rainbow aside that hillside is absolutely gorgeous. We don’t have many sights like that here in New England. Just beautiful.

    Thanks for share!
P.S. I’m a blog hopper too! See ya over on SW

  15. Gorgeous pic! As for what’s at the end of the rainbow? I’d rather just keep chasing them!

  16. I love this picture! It’s beautiful. I found you through the She Write Bloggers Ball. I love your tip about short posts. That was one of my tips, too. I admit to shying away from blogs that have long posts. I like to visit a lot of blogs and the long posts take too long to read and comment on.

  17. Hello from SheWrites! That rainbow is indeed a thing of beauty, and it’s the view that’s good as gold. (To a poet, everything’s a metaphor)

    Hi, *waving*
I’m a fellow She Writer. I don’t know how the other long winded folk like me are going to take your tip that brief posts help, but thanks for the tip!

btw…Pretty cool picture! (I would have missed it because I never look out my window when I’m inside)

  19. Love the photo! How lucky you were to catch it just like that!

  20. What a gorgeous picture!

I’m a SheWriter – fantastic to meet you!
